FLH Logistics LLC is seeking a professional, high-caliber Class B CDL Driver to join our roster as a dedicated On-Call / Relief Operator. This role involves operating a well-maintained 24-foot straight box truck for stage production equipment transport and general commercial freight deliveries throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic.

This is an at-will, as-needed position serving primarily as a backup and fill-in for our Lead Operator, as well as providing secondary unit coverage for large live events. Dispatch volume heavily increases during our peak stage production season, which runs steadily from May through September.

Equipment & Operation

  • Vehicle: 2014 Freightliner M2 (33,000 GVWR / Class 7).

  • Specs: 24’ Box, Automatic Transmission, Air Brakes. (No tractor-trailers).

  • Technology: Fully digital fleet utilizing the Motive ELD system.

  • Routes: Primarily home daily; occasional regional overnights (lodging provided).

Compensation & Responsibilities

  • Stage Production Hauls: $290.00 Flat Rate per day dispatched. (Note: Stage dispatches explicitly require active physical labor, including load-in, stage building/assembly, and load-out at the venue).

  • General Freight Hauls: $250.00 Flat Rate per day dispatched. (Primarily standard dock-to-dock driving).

  • Expenses: 100% of authorized fuel, tolls, and maintenance are covered by the company.

  • Payment: Weekly via 1099.

Requirements
To maintain our high safety standards and insurance compliance, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Licensing: Valid Class B CDL (or higher) with Air Brake endorsement.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience.

  • Physical Ability: Must be capable of performing physical labor (lifting, carrying, assembling) for stage production dispatches.

  • Compliance: Must have a “Not Prohibited” status in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

  • Medical: Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

  • Safety: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations or suspensions in the last 3 years.

  • Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen.
